My husband turned 5o and we had him a 1950"s birthday party.
The Ladies wore poodle skirts and the men wore white T'shirts rolled up jeans and slicked back their hair. We decorated with black and white checked table cloths and used the 1950 model cars for centerpieces on the tables. We also decorated with album covers and records of the 1950"s. We played 50's tunes and we had hot dogs and hamburgers to eat. We made root beer floats. We did a board with his baby pictures right on up to his adult pictures on it and put real funny sayings under each picture. Everyone had a wonderful time and my husband will never forget it. My brother-in-law panamined the bird song and me and my sister-in-law and a friend were the birdettes. He recieved a lot of funny gifts like a turn back the Hands of Time clock, to Fuzzy dice, everyone still talks about it and it was 3 years ago.
