For my grandma's 90th birthday party we wanted to do something a bit more special rather than a plain photo board. We cut out a large film reel from black paper and then mounted photos on white paper in each section of the reel. For fun we then printed out a movie clipboard with movie title being "Gran's 90 years", and the scene and act number corresponding with her birth date. We also printed out an old fashioned movie camera. It looked fantastic mounted on the wall and our Gran appreciated the effort we had gone to far more than any material gifts she received. You could also add speech bubbles to the photos.
