Miss Congeniality Party  My best friend turned 34. Nothing special to most people. Which is why it made this birthday party special.  The party was based around the movie staring Sandra Bullock, titled "Miss Congeniality." In the movie this woman police officer that is very boyish in her mannerism is chosen to go under cover in a Miss America type pageant. She has to go through a transformation to look the part. She isn't allowed to sleep or eat during this transformation.  I contacted a dozen of her friends to participate in this party. Three of the dozen chose to host three of the events. We began by waking her up at 2:30 in the morning, taking her like she was to Meijers. Which is a 24 hour clothing and food store. We made her shop with all of us to find an outfit to wear for the day.  She tried these outfits on and we bought them for her to wear.  We then went to have breakfast at an all night restaurant.  We laughed and stood on the table and sang "Happy Birthday" to her like Marilyn Monroe.  It was wild.  We then left there and went to one woman's house where we had our finger and toenails done. Once finished we went to the next house where we had her hair done.  At this point it was time for lunch where each of us pitched in to pay for her lunch at her favorite restaurant.  We went to the last house for cake and ice cream and to watch the actual movie and open gifts.  We were all tired and ready for a nap by the time this all ended.  The birthday girl had a great time and stated this was a birthday to remember.
