My boss is a great guy, but is one of these people that has everything, so when he turned "50" this past November we decided to do something different here at the ofice. I asked everyone to bring "50" of something and we'd put everything in a basket and put it on his desk. We started out by putting a sign that read "Reserved for older people, and that means YOU" where my boss parks, next to it was a walker with a ballon bouquet that had all colors of balloons and one with "50" printed on it. When he got to his office he began going through the birthday basket tied in black ribbon. There were 50 golf tees, 50 tacks, 50 cup holders, a 50 cent piece, a 50 calibur bullet,a Look magaine from 1954,50 pieces of Chocolate candy, 50 nails. 50 prunes,50 asprin tablets, 50 anti-acid tablets, A certificate for 49 days of vacation and (1) golf ball, Fifty fake dollar bills. Well, the list could go on and on, just use your imagination. He thought it was great and everyone had a good laugh.
