Our parents turned 50 and celebrated 30 years of marriage, and what better way to party then to hula.  First, we needed to get our guests attention. In bold on our invitations we asked "HOW THE HULA ARE YOU?".  The party had beautiful and colorful decorations. The hit of the party were the center pieces.  We purchased $0.59 plastic flower pots in bright colors and a bag of 300 lolly pops (at a warehouse store $7.00). We got round office label stickers(in bright colors)and wrote out "50 SUCKS". Inside of the flower we placed a 10X10 piece of green plastic shrink wrap(adjust to fit pot). Inside the plastic we placed a piece of floral foam (the height of the flower pot). The lolly pops have "50 sucks" stickers on both sides, are decorated with ribbon, and placed in the foam.  You can add a monkeys or palm trees by adding a decorating a barbecue stick in the center of the pops.  BEST TIP:  BE CREATIVE AND COLORFUL!!
