My husband threw a surprise party for me on my 21st birthday.  I guess it's important to know that I was a mathematics major that doesn't really fit the stereotype.  Anyways, he and all of our friends were dressed as the stereotyped nerd" wearing tape around their glasses suspenders even carrying calculators in their shirt pocket.  The house had been decorated with streamers balloons and posters that had been cut into Right Triangles (and other geometric shapes) with a math formula on each one instead of the typical "Happy Birthday". They even went as far as having the cake read "17+4" instead of "21".  The party was really special; the food was great the drinks were flowing and I'll never forget it."
