Surprise 60th birthday - golf tournament. My husband loves golf, beer and smiley faces.......So I couldn't think of a better gift then to surprise him with a golf tournament. And of course, it was a smiley face theme. I sent smiley invites to his best golfing buddies... 18 of them.  I had absolutley no problem getting my husband there because he just thought he was going to meet a few friends for golf.  I negoiated a special rate with the golf course, made tee times and was able to get all of the carts for half price. Pick a day when the course is slow!!!  I ordered yellow golf shirts with "The Golf Course Name, The Classic and the year" embordered on the sleeve.  Everyone had yellow except my husband...his was black. The Carts and the Course was decorated with smilies and yellow and black balloons.  And at the 6th (60th) tee my girlfriends and I were there with drinks and cigars!!! And some snacks. Oh by the way, I put a half keg of beer in my husband cart with black and yellow cups. And I made golf treat bags...smiley ones that included yellow smiley balls, tees, pens that I had personalized cheap from an on-line vendor. Plus I addded gum and peanut butter crackers. Then I had a party with the spouses at the end and we gave out trophies!!!  Beer mugs and beer!!! The men were in heaven.  Best party ever....according to my husband and his friends.
