Suprise 30th Birthday Party for adult I had a surprise 30th birthday party for my husband. I planned the party one month before his actual birthday (to ensure a surprise). Six weeks
before the party I sent out a letter to everyone asking them to write my husband a letter wishing him a happy birthday or to share a memory they had with him. I had them send the letters to
my friends address. As the letters came in I put them in a scrapbook. Almost everyone sent a letter.I put a picture of him on the front of the book and the title "Just a note....to say
you are loved" I sat the book on a table for decoration at the party. My husband loved it (he looks at it all the time). I hired a live band and a caterer. I ask the caterer to do foods
that my husband loved. Because of the expense of the caterer and the band I needed to save on decorations. I gathered 8x10 pictures of my husband through his life (some of them were 4x6 that
I enlarged). I printed information from the internet of what was going on in the year 1975. I printed out the top 40 hits from 1975 and prices from 1975. I printed these on colored paper and
then framed them in black frames. I also put all the 8x10 photos in black frames. On each table I put a bundle of balloons, a photo and a "1975" sheet. I used red tablecloths on
every table.I invited all of my husbands friends and family. My husband was completely surprised. We danced and just had a really great time.
